Hubert Mueller, 54, of 917 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Mueller was born Sept. 12, 1902, at Marytown, Wis., son of the late Michael and Gertrude Wollersheim Mueller,. He came to Manitowoc when 16 and was employed 39 years by A.M. Richter Sons Co. He married the former Theresa Stryzewski May 29, 1928. He was a member of the Manitowoc Eagles Aerie and the maltsters' union.

Surviving are his wife, three brothers, Matthew and Peter of Milwaukee and Joseph of Fond du Lac and a step-brother, Wendell of Fond du Lac.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Monday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
