Mrs. John L. Mushel, 69, of 1911 Madison St., Manitowoc, died at home at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday of a coronary.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Conrad will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Frances Wier was born July 8, 1896, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Schroeder Wier, and always resided in the city. She was married to John L. Mushel at St. Mary Church June 7, 1915, and the couple observed the golden anniversary of the wedding this year.
Mrs. Mushel is survived by her husband, a son, John A. Mushel, of Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. Leon Doncheck, Mrs. Kenneth Hetue and Mrs. George Timm, of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Alonzo G. Martin, of Manitowoc; four brothers, Joseph, Alois, August and Paul Wier of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Felix Budnik, of Manitowoc and ten grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
