Funeral services for Albert E. Higdon, 83, of 124 Moore Street, were held Saturday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Wells officiating. Interment was in the Garden of Memories under the direction of the Plummer Funeral Chapels. He died April 24 in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Born in Carroll, Miss., Nov. 15, 1891, he had lived here 15 years and was a World War 1 veteran. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Lohmann of Kerrville, Mrs. W. Glglcott of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Marie Marcellan of San Antonio; three sons, Thomas Higdon of Bloomfield, Mo., James Higdon of San Antonio, and Edwin Higdon of Nashville, Tenn., and two brothers.
