Charles D. Chappel, 71 died Friday evening at the Mercy hospital, Cadillac, following a brief illness.
Mr. Chappel was born August 23, 1880. At Summit city, the son of Adam and Margaret Chappel. In 1907 he was united in marriage to Bertha Lueck and to this union was born one son. Latter he was united in marriage to Jessie Duncan of Cadillac. Mr. Chappel spent his entire life in the vicinity of Kingsley until last fall when he moved to Cadillac.
Surviving besides his wife is one son. Mearl of Springport, Michigan: one brother, Adam of Kingsley: two half brothers William of Kingsley and George of Jackson.: one sister, Mrs. Florence Morlock of Chase, Mich: three grand children and many other relatives and a host of friends. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services willl be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm from smith funeral home,. Kingsley Rev. A.H Keesler will officiate and burial will be made in the Evergreen cemetery, Kingsley.
