FAIRLAWN-- Waneta C. Smith, nee Young, age 94, died in hospice care on Nov. 12, 2013.
She was a 1937 graduate of Sidney High School. She was preceeded by her husband, William H. Smith; brother, Willis Young; and sister, Julia Luma.
Her survivors include her children, Charlene Tyrrell (Ron), Jo Ann Nelson, Thomas Smith (Sue); her grandchildren, David Nelson, Kristen Nelson, Jeremy Wilson (Holly), Jacob Wilson (Kathy), Emilee Smith, Carly Smith and Julie Smith, and great-grandchildren, Rachel, Ruth, Ellie, Suzie, Isaac, Brianna, Brooke, and Andrew, as well as many nephews and nieces.
A private family service was held.
