DONALD CASSIDY

"Graveside services for Donald Paul Cassidy, 61, a Dayton resident for the past 13 years, will be Tuesday at the Dayton Cemetery.

Mr. Cassidy died Saturday in a Carson City hospital. He was born March 8, 1923, in Detroit. He lived in Westminster, California, before coming to Carson City. Mr. Cassidy served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Union Local No. 971 in Reno and No. 1815 in Santa Ana, California.

Among his survivors are his wife, Dorothy Jean, and son, Michael, both of Dayton; son, Kevin, of Virginia City; daughters, Cathy Winters and Marlene Feroe, both of Seattle, Washington; brother, John P. and sisters, Josephine Ryle, Kathleen McClellan, Barbara Valeen and Edith Saimmen, all of Detroit; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family requests that any contributions be made to the Valley Fire Department in Dayton. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements."
