Mr. Cochran was a retired millwright, a native of Hickman County, Tenn., a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Rayville Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Starks Cochran of Holly Ridge; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Walter Cochran, Cooper Cochran, Alvin Smith, Earl Patrick, Clyde McGowan, Robie Gryder and Claude Cordell.
