Mrs. Mary Norkowski (sic), 88, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anthony Zendala, 2501 Custer St., following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am Tuesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Norkowski, nee Mary Kaczmarek, was born in Poland in 1857 and was married to Frank Norkowski in Poland 68 years ago. They came to America in 1880. Mr. Norkowski died 22 years ago.

Survivors include Mrs. Zendala of this city; another daughter, Mrs. Andrew Wergin of Mishicot and one son, Anthony of Avalon, Alta., Canada; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Sunday morning until the time of service Tuesday. The St. Mary Rosary Society, of which Mrs. Norkowski was a member, will recite the rosary at 7 pm Sunday and the Rev. Landowski will recite the rosary at 7 pm Monday.
