MISS NOVAK, AGE 20, DEAD
Young Woman Dies Monday After Lingering Illness
Miss Blanche "Connie" Novak, who would have been 20 years old had she lived two more weeks, died Monday at 1 p.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Novak, 1201 South 20th street. Death followed a lingering illness.
She was born in this city Jan. 7, 1915. Besides her parents she is survived by four sisters, Alice, Clara, Elaine, and Arlene, and one brother, Erwin, all of this city.
The body was removed from the Shimek & Schwartz funeral home to the residence Tuesday afternoon. Services will be conducted there Friday at 8:30 a.m. and at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
