Mrs. John Novak Sr., 62, of 914 South 19th street, died Tuesday evening at the Holy Family hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mrs. Novak, nee Mary Polkinkowski, was born in Germany in 1884 and accompanied the family to Manitowoc in 1886. She was married in 1905 to John Novak.

Survivors are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Walter Silbersack, Mrs. Victor Toston, and Mrs. Edmund Helpin of Manitowoc, three sons, John Jr., Edwin and Alois of Manitowoc, four brothers, Frank, Anton, John and Joseph of Manitowoc, and four sisters, Mrs. Xavier Pozorski, Mrs. Frank Kominsky, Mrs. Anton S?? and Mrs. Frank Korlesky of Manitowoc. Eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m Wednesday until the time of services Saturday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
