Mrs. Clara L. Orchekowski, 84, of 1328 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Sunday, July 10, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. Rev. Harold Berryman and Rev. Thaddeus Kaczarek will concelebrated the Mass of Christian burial and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Orchekowski, nee Clara Lucille Sitkawitz was born March 4, 1904 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late John and Rose Tomcheck Sitkawitz. She was married to Frank H. Orchekowski, November 4, 1925 at St. Casimir Catholic church, Northeim. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1975. Her husband preceded her in death May 25, 1985. Mrs. Orchekowski was a member of Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, F. Reginald and Lillian Orchekowski of Coral Springs, Florida, Albert J. and Beverly Orchekowski of High Point, North Carolina; a sister, Mrs. Helen Pech of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Susan, Brenda, Gary, Ann, Lynn, Paul, Julie and Gregory; five great grandchildren, Adam, Angela, Joshua, Aaron and Jennifer; three sisters-in-law, Irene Sitkawitz of Manitowoc, Clara Orchekowsky of Manitowoc and Mildred Orchekowsky of New Holstein; a brother-in-law, Arthur Orchekowski of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 3 pm to 9 pm Thursday, where a rosary service will be 3:30 pm by the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Catholic church and a prayer service will be 7:30 pm Thursday by Rev. Eugene Brochtrup.
