JOHN P. PASZKIEWIACZ
(1888 - 1959)
John P. Paszkiawiacz, 71, of 2312 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at his home following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born April 8, 1888, in Poland, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Paszkiawiacz, and came to this country as a young man. He worked at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., for more than 30 years, retiring six years ago. He married the former Matilda Norkowski and she preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1931. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Leonard of Green Bay, John at home and Francis of Rockwood, three daughters, Mrs. Adeline Nitka, Mrs. Henry Kramer and Mrs. Vergil Wilson of Manitowoc; a brother in Poland, and six grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.
