, 95, passed away February 11, 2004. She was born December 10, 1908 in Los Trevinos, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Her parents were Emeterio Lopez & Bruna Guerra.
She was 8 months old when she moved to Texas. Loretta lived briefly in Grand Rapid, Michigan, but has been a life-long resident of Corpus Christi. A hard worker, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and widowed at age 46. She will be sorely missed by those who loved her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Garza Anzaldua and three brothers; Anacleto Lopez, Tomas Lopez, Eluterio Lopez.
Survivors include three sons: Rodolfo "Rudy" (Julene) Anzaldua, Reynaldo "Rey" (Diana) Anzaldua, and Rufino "Joe" Anzaldua all of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two daughters: Margarite "Margie" Jenkins and Rosa (Ruben) Moya all of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Robert M. Young, Berkshire, England; P. Scott Jenkins, Allegan, Michigan; Lynn Dawson, Virginia; Veronica Yates, San Antonio, Texas; Ruben Moya, Jr., Craig Co.; Monica Rodriguez, Diana Wilson & Brenda Perez, Corpus Christi, Texas; a sister, Soledad Hinojosa and sister-in-law, Ofelia Lopez. She leaves 25 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Tita's wished were to have private services with no viewing.
Private services were held Sunday, February 15, 2004 at Saxet Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, Texas, officiating with Rev. Joseph Byrne, Unity by the Sea Church.
A very special thank you to Dr. Efrain Vickson and Dr. Narian Mangla; two nurses, Eddie & Jennifer at CCU and to the nurses on 5th floor all staff members of Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital all of which took such good care of her.
