Otis Crouse, 73, of Italy Cross, died Sunday in Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born at Waterloo, he was a son of the late Schaffner and Izilda (Wile) Crouse.

He was a service station operator and worked with Amoco Oil Company in the United States for many years. He moved to Nova scotia in 1952 and owned and operated a general store in Italy Cross.

Surviving besides his wife, the former Bertha Drollett, are five sisters, Edith Mead and Dorothy Breau, both of Florida; Lillian Smeltzer, Massachusetts; Lettie Naugler and Ernestine Wagner, both of Nova Scotia; and two stepchildren, Carol and George, of the United States.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Estelle; two sisters, Ruth and Pearl; and a brother, Warren.

The body is in Wamback Memorial Chapel, Bridgewater, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m., Rev. Allan Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Baptist Church, Bridgewater.
