Francis "Frank" D. Sanders, 77. of Greenwood, passed away January 20, 2014. The son of Lloyd Sanders and Frances L. Whetstone Sanders, Frank was born May 25, 1936 in Pennville, Indiana.
Frank was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired as a Vice President in the Personal Trust Department at Bank One. He was a member of American Legion Post #205 in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene K. Sanders of Greenwood; daughter, Lynda K. Sanders of Indianapolis; sons, Steven D. (Kathleen) Sanders of Indianapolis, James M. (Colleen) Sanders of Indianapolis, Keith A. (Carole) Sanders of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Robert W. (Diana) Sanders of Indianapolis; sister, Bonnie Tunberg of West Palm Beach, Florida; brother, Jay Sanders of Yorktown; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by brothers, Eldon, Lloyd, Jr. and Richard Sanders.
