"Death of A. M. Henry formerly of Montana

Special Dispatch to the Standard.

Great Falls, May 22. -

"News was received in the city to-day of the death at Oakland, Cal., of Addis M. Henry, aged 56 years, for many years a resident of Montana. Mr. Henry was a native of Ohio. He was graduated from the West Point military academy in 1872 and soon thereafter came to Montana as a lieutenant in the army. For a time he was quartermaster at Fort Benton and later an officer at Fort Shaw, where he married the daughter of the commanding officer, Col. Edward Moale. Leaving the army immediately following his marriage, Mr. Henry went to Barker and Nelhart, later becoming a heavy stockholder in the Florence mine at the latter place. At the time of his death Mr. Henry was secretary, treasurer and manager of the Florence. Some years ago, Mr. Henry purchased a home in Oakland and has lived there largely since with his family. He leaves a wife and three children, a son and two daughters. For many years Mr. Henry was one of the leading business men of White Sulphur Spring, being engaged in the jewelry and other business there and being president of the First National bank of that place."
