Betty Lou Huffaker Brooks age 85, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Little Creek Nursing Home.

Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband of thirty-seven years, Carl Edward (Ed) Brooks, her parents Nora and James (Jimmy) Huffaker, and brother Jake Huffaker.
She is survived by her son, Dr. C. Edward (Eddie) Brooks (Cathy); daughter, Denise (Necie) Brooks; grandchildren Lindsay Brooks Creswell (Daniel) and Bradley Myers Brooks (Beth); great grand children Jacob, Isaac, Judson, and Colby Creswell and Grayson and Ali James Brooks; sister-in-law Shirley Lee; extra special friends, Dorothy Chapman and Willie Cate; and many wonderful neighbors.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff at Little Creek for the love and care they gave Betty during her time there.
