OLD SETTLER NEWTON IS DEAD, AGED 72
E. Kieselhorst Dies Suddenly Sunday From a Stroke

Ernst Kieselhorst, one of the pioneer settlers of Manitowoc County, passed away at his home at Newton Sunday, death being due to a stroke of apoplexy.

Mr. Kieselhorst was born in the town of Liberty October 17, 1852 and shortly after he settled on the farm at Newton with his parents and had resided there since.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Ferdinand Kieselhorst home at Newton and burial will take place at Newton cemetery, Rev. ???? officiating both at the home and at the cemetery.

Mr. Kieselhorst is survived by two daughters Mrs. Charles Christiansen of Rapids and Mrs. Henry Klusmeyer of this city and one son Ferdinand who resides at Newton. Three sisters, Mrs. John Ludwig, Mrs. August Lippert and Mrs. Louis Lippert and three brothers Herman and Charles Kieselhorst of this city and John Kieselhorst who resides on the farm, near Newton.
