Emma was involved in a car accident on a Sunday family outing in New Orleans. Her son, George, was driving when another visitor to New Orleans ran a stop sign, hit their car in the side, and it turned over. I believe they were on the highway by the racetrack (horses). Emma, a daughter, and George were in the car. Emma was hospitalized for days in N.O. and then died.
