Mrs. Anna(Kosterman) James, formerly 204 English St. age 82, passed away April 22,1961 at the Hansen Convalescent home. Mrs. James was born in Racine on Feb 20,1879 and had been a life time resident. She was a member of St. John Nepomuk Church. Surviving are one son, Robert W. James of Racine; three daughters, Mrs. Walter(Edith)Berg of Racine Mrs. Asa(Marion)Myers of Waukegan, Ill. and Mrs. Sam (Dorothy) Oehmen of Lansing, Migh., 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. William Ryder of Racine; also many nieces, nephews and other near relatives. Her husband Nathan W. James, former Racine county Sheriff, preceeded her in death on Feb 26,1944. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 10:30 A.M. in the Strouf-Sheffield funeral home, Rev. Joseph J. Macek officiating. Interment will be in Mound cemetery. Friends may call at the Strouf-Sheffield funeral home 1001 High St. this Monday afternoon after 4 o'clock.
