Services for Mrs. Rachel A. Cuthbert were held Wednesday at Rayville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glen Rorie officiating.

Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cuthbert died Monday at her residence after a long illness.

She was a member of Rayville United Methodist Church, the Mattie Haley Circle, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of North Louisiana School of Nursing in Shreveport.

Survivors include her husband, James J. Cuthbert Jr. of Rayville; two sons, James J. Cuthbert II of Monroe and Robert W. Cuthbert of Delhi; three sisters, Mrs. Inez A. Chance of Shreveport, Mrs. Nellie A. Stevenson of Calion, Ark., and Mrs. Clifford A. Mahoney of Ocean Springs, Miss.; four brothers, Denison Abbitt of Bossier City, Willis Abbitt of Shreveport, Felton Abbitt of Metairie, and Allen Abbitt of Livingston, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Abbitt, William Abbitt, Steve Martin, Louis Martin, Leo Bryant and George L. Gladney Jr.

Memorials may be made to Rayville United Methodist Church for the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home in Ruston or to any favorite charity.
