Cheryl, the daughter of William and Joann Monroe, was born Oct. 12, 1961, in Muncie, Ind. Cheryl married Mark Weir on Nov. 7, 1980, moved from Kokomo, Ind., to Arlington, and started their family. This family was made complete with the birth of Wesley in 1983 and Chris in 1985. Cheryl was a loving wife and mother and was known for her love of all children. Cheryl had a talent for cross-stitching and a love for dogs and any stray animals.
Cheryl will be missed, but her love expressed will be in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Monroe; and grandparents, Roy and Peggy Sites and Walter and Florence Monroe, all of Indiana.
Survivors: Husband of 25 years, Mark Weir; sons, Jonathon Wesley Weir and Christopher Allen Weir; mother, Joann Monroe; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Richard Weir; brother, William Lee Monroe and wife, Shari; sister, Deborah Goodman; sister-in-law, Teresa Summe; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Todd and Lori Dulak; many nieces and nephews; honorary grandson, Kolten Steward; and many friends.
