Tassy lived most of his life in southern California. He was a WW2 veteran in the US Army a PFC. He owned a small plane a Fair Child PT - 19, that is on display at a museum in Ohio.
Carmino/Tassy, was an affable and good-natured man, who was usually cracking jokes in his own way. Tassy always had a big smile on his face and it was always a pleasure to visit him. Every time we would go to his home he would offer us Russian tea cookies out of a box. Tassy drove a big pick up truck with a camper, because he liked to hunt and go camping.
He liked eating at Don Ricardo's Mexican Restaurant in Sun Valley CA, especially for breakfast. Tassy had a favourite Grandson Joseph Rivera Jr. who lives in Lancaster California.
