Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Bellard
"Charlie" 87 will be Saturday, May 31 at 1:30
p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
A wake service will be held Friday, May 30
from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Combre Funeral Home.
Mr. Bellard died Monday the 26th at 3:15 p.m. in a local hospital.
Mr. Bellard lived in Lake Charles most of his life. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Peter Claver - 3rd and 4th Degree, member of the Holy Name Society, and a Lay Minister of Communion. He received the Bishop's Medal. He was a self-employed, retired carpenter and well known in the Lake Charles community.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clementine Bellard; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Bellard Stanley; one step-son, Anderson Dargin; son-in-law, Gary Stanley all of Lake Charles; two sisters, Elizabeth Gowdy and Dora Lee Smith, both of Lake Charles; one brother Dimmick Bellard of Oakland, California; seven grandchildren and eight great-grand children, and a host of nieces and nephews.
