Floyd J. Zeman, age 91, of 11901 County Road K, Cato, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.Floyd was born April 11, 1922 in the Town of Kossuth son of the late Joe and Clara (Frolich) Zeman. He attended Denmark High School and Manitowoc Vocational School. On May 5, 1943 Floyd married the former Marian Holschbach at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Marian's uncle, the late Rev. Frank J. Svatek officiated. Floyd was a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Kellnersville, a member of the Holy Name Society, usher, server, and was also on the cemetery committee. He was a member of WFLA Lodge #20 District 2, Whitelaw. Floyd is a director of the Chilton Steam Antique Engine Club. He worked as a carpenter at Burger Boat Company, Manitowoc Shipbuilding, and various construction jobs. Floyd also operated a dairy farm in the Town of Franklin for over 30 years with his wife Marian. During retirement years Floyd served as a supervisor for the Town of Franklin and also did road maintenance and snowplowing.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years: Marian Zeman, Cato; six children: Mary (Kent) Bleser, Eagle River, Alaska; Floyd (Ann) Zeman Jr., Whitelaw; Suzanne (Lawrence) Shimon, Manitowoc; Sandra (Richard) Parkinson, Bartlet, TN; Randall (Carol) Zeman, Cato; Joseph (Kathy) Zeman, Milwaukee; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
