Sylvestor E. Amspacher, was dead on arrival at York Hospital January 1, 1962, after being found in his bed by his two children, who were unable to arouse him. His age was 64-5-25. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Paulie Henry Amspacher; five children, Mrs. Howard Garner; Merle S. Amspacher; Preston Amspacher; Grover H. Amspacher; Dale E. Amspacher; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Walbeck and Mrs. Ida Smith; and a brother, Grover Amspacher.
Funeral sefvices were conducted from the Hartenstein Mortuary, New Freedom, Thursday afternoon Jan. 4. Burial in Joseph Giesey Memorial Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
