Johann's father was August Carl Friedrich Timm. John married Frances Elizabeth (Bowlin) Craig on July 22, 1908 in Independence County, Arkansas.

J. H. Timm, a pioneer of the town of Brillion, died at his home last Monday, at the age of over 87 years.

The deceased was born in Germany and came to America in 1851, the family settling in the town of Brillion.

In 1857 he was married to Minnie Persohn and of this union four children are living. They are Robert Timm, Mrs. Martin Bastian, Mrs. Julius Krueger, all of Brillion town and Mrs. Wm Wolfmeyer of Forest Junction.

In 1888 he removed to California, then in 1896 to Kansas. From there he moved in 1902 to Arkansas. This year his wife died.

In 1908 he was married to Elizabeth Krugg, who now survives him. In 1917 he moved from California to Brillion. Decedent was a member of the Ger. M. E. Church.

The funeral was held Wednesday from the church, Rev. J. J. Moor officiating.
