June 25, 1953, at his home after a year of failing health. A son of the
late Jacob and Mary Benedict Plowman, he was first married to
Mrs. Ada McGee Plowman, who died 10 years ago. Surviving are
his second wife, Mrs. Eva Smith Plowman, and a number of cousins.
Mr. Plowman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and
Sunday School, Uniontown. Funeral services Sunday at 2:30 P. M.
at the Plowman home were in charge of his pastor, the Rev. Donald
Warrenfeltz, assisted by the Rev. J. H. Hoch. Interment was in
Winters' Church Cemetery. C. O. Fuss & Son, funeral directors.
