Joseph Baylis, 12810 Edmonton avenue, aged forty-one, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, Nov. 22. Services were held at Deutsch's Chapel, and interment was at Mayfield Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 24, at 3 p. m. Rabbi Peiser officiated. The pallbeabers were Messrs. H. Cook, Mark Goodman, H. Halper, Ehrlich [sic], Max Adler, Troutman, Mandelkorn and David Klein.

Mr. Baylis is survived by his wife, Lillian Baylis; daughter, Mildred; three brothers, Ben, Providence, R. I.; Charles, Chicago, Ill.; Phillip, Tacoma, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Werblowsky and Mrs. Mamie Funt, New York City. The out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Ray Bellis, Mrs. Bolnic and son, and Mrs. Mamie Funt, New York City.
