David was born April 25, 1950, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in this area most of his life before retiring to the Lake of the Ozarks. He worked for Hallmark Cards for 35 years before retiring. Following retirement, he continued to work in the construction field. He enjoyed competing in barbeque contests.
Dave was preceded in death by his younger brother, Dale. He is survived by his wife, Doris Maxine Anderson of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Buddy Kincaid; a son, Reese Anderson, all of Excelsior Springs; his parents, Charles and Delores Anderson of Climax Springs, Mo.; four brothers, Glen Anderson of Seattle, Wash., Rev. Mark Anderson of Hiawatha, Kan., Don Anderson of Climax Springs, Mo., and Keith Anderson of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Dene Vogrin of Kansas City, Kan., and Marsha Anderson of Kansas City, Mo., and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kolin Kincaid.
