Services for Rev. Jack Linton, 89, of Route 3, Henderson, will be held in the chapel of Crawford- A. Crim Funeral Home here Wednesday at 4 PM with Rev. Billy Shoffner and Rev. A.J. Nichols officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Rev. Linton, a member of the Pentecostal church, died inHenderson Memorial Hospital at 7: 35 am Tuesday after a lengthy illness.
A retired minister and saw mill operator. He was born in Rusk County February 18, 1883, and had resided in Rusk and Panola counties all his life.
Survivors are five sons, Everett, Huey, and Robert P Linton, all of Henderson, Aubrey Linton of New London and Tom Linton of Midland;
Four daughters, Mrs. Iola Fears and Mrs. Fay Davidson, both of Longview, Mrs. Maggie Norris of New London and Mrs. Dancle Norman of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Emma Mills of Henderson, 33 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
