Funeral services for Jimmy James Blakney, 88, 1910 27th Ave., who died recently at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham, will be held at 3 pm Sunday in the chapel of Van Hoose, Mauldin and Steele Funeral Home. Evangelist Stephens will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hollow [Holly] Springs Cemetery.
He was survived by two sisters, Evelyn Green and Martha Hyche both of Northport.
