James King Huston was born on August 28, 1856, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, his father, Samuel Gay Huston, was 51 and his mother, Mary Ann Wray Huston, was 36. His siblings are Perry L Huston, Katherine B Huston, Samuel Wray Huston, John Fleece Huston, and David Huston. His Half Siblings are Sara Jane"Jennie" Huston and Eliza Huston. He commited suicide, by cutting his throat on October 6, 1925, in the Mason's Home in Shelbyville, Shelby County, Kentucky, at the age of 69, and was buried in Stanford,Lincoln County, Kentucky.

MAN APPARENT SUICIDE "STANFORD King Huston McKinney an Inmate of the Home Shelbyville apparently committed suicide with a knife. Failing health was given was the cause. He was burled at McKinney.

James King Huston was the son of Samuel Huston and his wife Mary Ann Wray - Huston. His parents are buried in the Old Presbyterian Section at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Lincoln Co., Ky. In 1870, the family was living in Hustonville, Lincoln Co., Ky. James King Huston died at the Old Mason's Home in Shelby Co., Ky. His death certificate states he was single. Both birth and death certificates are attached.
