CLARA CHRISOPHERSON

A sad death occurred in this city on Friday the 5th, Mrs. Sever Christopherson yielding up her young life after a brave struggle against tuberculosis for the past eight months. A severe cold caught in May last brought on the disease which made repaid inroads on strength and vitality with the inevitable result.

Clara Nelson was born at Eaton, Manitowoc County, Jan. 31, 1884 and was scarcely 22 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to Sever Christopherson Nov. 24, 1903, coming with him to this city where she has since resided. She was a beautiful young woman, full of life and ambition until stricken with ill health, and universal sympathy is extended to her husband in his sad bereavement.

The funeral was held from the residence on Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m. with services in the Lutheran Church of Valders at 1:30 p.m., Rev. A. O. Alfsen officiating and interment in the family lot in Eaton.

The deceased is survived by a husband, her parents and three sisters, Lena and Alma, of Eaton and Mrs. Chas. Green of Chicago.
