Daughter of George and Susannah Mikesell.

The full given name is believed to have been Mary Catherine Mikesell, with "Kate" often used as a nickname.

---------------
Married first to Robert Clinkenbeard* on January 20, 1865, then to George Bunnell (what happenend to him ??). She is buried with Robert Clinkenbeard* on her maiden Mikesell family plot in Evergreen cemetery. Unfortunately, while there is an inscription for Robert on the Mikesell family monument, no inscription or individual headstone for Mary was provided.

*The short Fairfield Ia. Ledger obituary for "Kate" inadvertently used "Clinkinbeard" instead of "Clinkenbeard". It is one of the reasons why both versions can be found in sources, making listings and searches difficult.

--------------
The death evidently took place in Memphis, Mo., but how and why she was there isn't clear. It is possible that she moved there following the marriage to George Bunnell - needs clarification.

The burial in Evergreen cemetery and this obituary were done using the second married surname of "Bunnell", so will enter this memorial with that married surname.
