Mary was born in what was called SpringMills now called LaurelSprings New Jersey.
After her marriage to Millard she became a hoop and dress maker before that when she lived in Pitman New Jersey she was a school teacher.
Mary died of Nephritis (kidney).
A story was told that about a month before her death her father Jonathan and her niece Mae went to her home in North Philadelphia for a visit, she showed them a beautiful dress she was making not knowing that would become the dress she would be buried in.
Mary's name was never placed on the tomb stone until 1988 when my mother Anna and myself had it put on, instead of the middle initial being E for Elizabeth we had D placed instead standing for Duncan.
