Lee Willeford was a son of John M. and Lydia Collman Willeford.He grew up in the Mt. Nebo neighborhood, attending Terrapin Ridge one room school. HE followed his father into farming. On June 18, 1950, he married Dorothy Rose in Walnut Ridge AR.He joined the United States Marine Corps on February 14, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, serving overseas for 5 months and 14 days during the Korean Crisis. Survivors include daughters, Debra Henly of Belle, MO, Ruth Jenner of Mulberry Grove, and Sheron Hankins of Rolla, MO, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother, Ted Willeford of Pocahontas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Laura Hill, a granddaughter, a sister, Mabel Grafe, and six brothers, Tom, Lloyd, Bob, Bill, Darrell, and Ken Willeford. After his discharge he spent another six years in the Marine Corps reserves and returned to farming, reared his family on the farm, and lived there until 1979, when he moved to Missouri. He was a member of the V.F.W.Post #6133 in Owensville, MO
