William Henry was the s/o William Jopson b England and Mary Jane Cornwell b Somers, CT, mar 1st: Sarah J Wrigglesworth, 16 Aug 1871, Holyoke, MA, 2nd Mary E Rickey, 25 Oct 1905, Holyoke, MA, parents of Mary, Alexander Ricky and Jennie E. Wilson.
William and Mary had one son, William George Jopson, Holyoke, MA.
Obituary, Holyoke Transcript: A well known papermaker who had been retired a long time died at his home, 45 Martin St, City, born in Enfield, CT, lived in Holyoke for 64 years. Was an expert papermaker and for many years a boss paper finisher for the American Writing Paper Co., Linden Division. He was a member of the Hampdn Lodge of Masons.
He leaves his wife, Mary E. Rickey,and son William G. Jopson. Funeral at Algers, Rev Gaius J. Slosser of the First Methodist Episcopal Church will conduct service, burial at Forestdale Cem, Holyoke, MA.
Bearers were, Lawrence Boyle, Gordon Trowbridge, Edward Prescott, Chauncey Jopson, Howard Gero and Ralph Pierce.
