LOUIS CHRISTEL

Louis Christel, 76, of Nekoosa, Wis., a former Valders resident, died Thursday
morning at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Nekoosa and 10 a.m. Tuesday at
Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders. The Rev. Leander Nickel will officiate
with burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery at Spring Valley.
Mr. Christel was the son of the late William F. And Wilhelmina Lulloff Christel.
His first wife, the former Ella Hertel of Spring Valley, preceded him in death
Sept. 15, 1926.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Louis Jr., of Manitowoc and Thomas, of
Valders, three daughters, Mrs. Willard (Marian) Zolthier, of Sheboygan, Violet
Christel, of Valders and Mrs. Francis (Alice Mae) Waniger, of St. Nazianz; two
brothers, William, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Arthur, of Manitowoc; two sisters,
Mrs. Louise Kletzien and Mrs. Edgar Ryan, of Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren and
four great grandchildren. Two children, five brothers, five sisters and a grand-
child preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Monday.
