The former Marion resident retired as an LPN from Marion General Hospital. She was a former member of the Swayzee Street United Methodist Church prior to its unification with other churches.
Survivors include sons, Larry (Wanda), Gilbert, Ariz., Dennis (Pamela), Sugar Grove, Ohio and Kent (Terry), Olathe, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Donna Jean; sister, Dorothy Brumfiel; and brother, Donald Alexander.
