Mrs. Helen Moyce Crocker of Falmouth Heights-died Saturday at her home after a three-day illness. She was 78.

Born in Calais, Maine, August 21, 1859, the daughter of Thomas M. and Eliza Anne (Mc-Gibbon) Baker. During her youth she lived mostly in Calais and St, Stephen, New Brunswick. About 50 years ago she moved to Boston and shortly after married John H, Crocker. They came to Falmouth 33 years ago, first living in the house now owned by Dr. Edwin P. Tripp After, her husband's death, Mrs. Crocker built her house at Falmouth Heights.

Mrs. Crocker was a member of the First Congregational church, Woman's Union, and the Falmouth Garden Club. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Esther M. Binda; two sisters, Mrs. Linnet Abbott and Mrs. Alice B. Hamann, whose summer homes adjoin the Crocker" house on Grand avenue; and a brother, Robert L. Baker. Close friends of the family and Mrs. Frederick C. Allen sang two soprano solos, "Abide with Me" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." Burial was at Oak Grove cemetery.
