A noted Architect, and a former Dublin City and County Planning Officer.

Formerly of Coliemore Road, Dalkey, Co. Dublin.

Birth.
Charles Grellan Gerard Aliaga Kelly, son of Ambrose Aliaga Kelly and Isabella Aliaga Kelly, formerly Harrington, was born on 17 September 1918, at 12 Elgin Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin.
His father was a Wine Merchant.

Death Notice.

ALIAGA-KELLY, Charles Grellan - February 2, 2013, (suddenly but peacefully) aged 94 years, in New Zealand. Adored husband of Caroline (née Cavendish) for 49 years, and beloved father of William. Brother of the late Denis, Christopher and Mary. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and wide circle of friends. R.I.P. Requiem Mass and cremation will take place in New Zealand tomorrow (Tuesday). A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ireland. No flowers please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

(First Anniversary, February 2, 2014) - Caroline and William would like to thank most sincerely for the wonderful kindness and support they have both received since Charles sudden death last year, from their wonderful friends and relatives worldwide, especially in Ireland and New Zealand. They were overwhelmed by the touching letters of sympathy and support, tributes and Mass cards, from their wide circle of friends. Charles was cremated in New Zealand where he died, and loving both Ireland and New Zealand, his ashes are interred both in Akatarawa Cemetery, Upper Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand, and in the family grave at Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin. Charles will be remembered on his First Anniversary, at 11.15am Mass on Sunday, February 2, at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dalkey, Co. Dublin.
