GREENWOOD - Larry James Adams died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at his home. He was 58 years old. Born in Milford, Feb. 13, 1955, Mr. Adams was the son of Lester James Adams and Ruth M. Adams, both of Greenwood.

He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Bridgeville. Mr. Adams was part owner and a manager in the family business, Adams Fruit Market Inc. He enjoyed restoring antiques, collecting Coca Cola items, tractors and Hess Trucks.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams is survived by three sisters, Linda J. Parkhurst (Fred) of Greenwood, Judy L. Nalley (Mike) of Greenwood, and Joan L. Maloney (Oscar) of Federalsburg, Md.; and two brothers, Jamie L. Adams of Greenwood and Jeff L. Adams of Greenwood; two nieces, Brandy and Shania; three nephews, Brian, Alex and Zach; two great nephews, Hunter and Kizer; and his special friend, Beverly Williams.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerry L. Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at the Denton Wayside Church of Christ in Christian Union, 26993 Shore Highway near Denton, Md. Friends may call from noon until 1 p.m. before the service. Pastor Jeff Donihue will officiate. Memorial contributions in Larry's memory may be made to the Denton Wayside CCCU, 26993 Shore Highway, Denton, MD 21629. The interment will be in the Bloomery Church Cemetery in Smithville, Md.
