SELINSGROVE – Sylvia V. Brouse, 88, died in Fathfon Covalescent Center, Sunday evening.
Born Aug. 28, 1900 in McAlisterville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Hendricks) Varner. She was married to the Harry Brouse, who died in 1980.
She worked at L’Agilon, Northumberland for number of years.
She is a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Church, McAlisterville, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Eagles, Sunbury.
She is survived by two sisters, Sovina Martin of Berwick and Sadie Naylor of Middleburg.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Seebold Funeral Home, Selinsgrove, by the Rev. Celo V. Leitzel. Burial will be in St. John’s Evangelical Cemetery, McAlisterville RD1.
