Juana Maria Rodriguez, 52, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1961, to the late Catalino and Antonia Gonzalez.
She had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 14 years, after previously living in Florida and New York. She had many things that she enjoyed spending time on, however the most important thing to her was her family. She was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word. She loved to take care of her family and look after her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her partner, Jorge Castro; one son, Edgardo L Rodriguez (Angela); two daughters: Jennifer Humes and Elizabeth Arizmendi; six brothers: Ferdinand Gonzalez (Carolyn), Catalino Gonzalez (Victorina), Luis A Gonzalez (Maria), Carlos Gonzalez (Evette), Samuel Gonzalez (Judith), Marcelino Rivera; four sisters: Noemi Gonzalez, Nerieda Gonzalez (Angel), Judith Gonzalez, Obdulia Rivera; 11 grandchildren; and several other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, 2415 Georgetown Road N.W., Cleveland.
A memorial time will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at the funeral home.
