Has all this time gone so fast Eddie. To your family your where known just as "Tio Eddie" and to your friends you were known as Eddie (life of the party)!

Until his death I never realized that his name really wasn't Eddie. Well Eddie was a very wonderful and seriously funny guy. He would make you crack up and laugh in the worst situation and you never had a frown on your face with him because he was the life of the party all the time. I met Eddie thru his ex' sister in law Rebecca Lemon and let me tell you I can't describe the first time I met him cause he was as crazy then in the early 90's as anyone knew him now.

For the last few years Eddie was very much in a state of depression due to being diagnosed with diabetes and not being able to still do the things he did in the past. Expecially dancing. Eddie was a dancer and there was never a party that he was'nt on the dance floor tearing it up! He didn't care who was watching or who was whispering, he DANCED! That was Eddie, Never caring if the world was watching him, he did his thing. I repect him for that because it taught me to be yourself and forget what the world has to say. I miss so much the "coquito" Eddie use to make for the holidays. But one thing I did appreciate is that Eddie gave me his famous recipe the year before he passed away and I have continued his tradition. I call it "Eddie's Coquito". Although it taste the same, its always going to be different since he didn't make it himself. Eddie~ you were one of a kind and for that I thank you. Always be good and watch over your family now and forever.

Than one day Eddie took his life and his family now mourns for the rest of thiers. I don't mourn his death, because Eddie was the guy who didn't like to feel sad, although he was in private, he wanted you to be happy and always could get you to laugh with his jokes. He is now at peace (as his last note stated) and he is now in a better place. He is missed and a lot of hearts are broken beyond what was expected. We love you Eddie. Save the last dance.... No better yet, start the last dance!!!

Friends always, Damian Omar Plaza (Omen X)
