Edwin Mullard Linkous, age 71, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Christiansburg on April 23, 1942 to the late Ralph and Annie Mae Kanode Linkous. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Woolwine Linkous; an infant daughter, Karen Linkous; sisters, Teresa Redd, Faye Pyles, Arlene Reed; brothers, Roger Linkous, Milton Linkous.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening February 6, 2014, at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
