CALDWELL — Requiem Mass for Charles Edward Brubaker, 74, 905 Tenth Ave. S., Nampa, who died Monday at Kingman, Ariz., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic in Caldwell. Celebrant will be the Rev. Fr. John Quinn. Rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. Thursday in the Flahiff Chapel. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born April 26, 1892, at Alliance, Neb., and married Ruth Harman there September 1912. He was a retired Union Pacific Railroad Company engineer, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive and Firemen Engineers, the Union Pacific Old Timers and the Moose Lodge at Rawlins, Wyo. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife; five sons, Robert E., of Billings, Mont., Jack of Nampa, Edward of Salt Lake City, Pat of Caldwell, and Joseph E. Brubaker, with the Air Force in Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Becky Brown of Caldwell, Mrs. Frann Richardson and Mrs. Loretta Howell, both of Nampa; two brothers, Joe Brubaker of Shoshone, Wyo., and George Brubaker of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Eleanora Gillette, of Bridgeport, Neb.; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Beutler, and two sisters.
