The Pike County Journal
Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia
November 29, 1907
Mrs. Emmie Bishop died at her home in Haralson Monday after a six weeks illness of fever. She was a sister of Mr. Leon Rawls of this place and Miss Myrl Rawls of Meansville. She was well known here where she has often visited the family of Mr. J.W. Ford, being his step-daughter. The deceased was an excellent young woman and was married only about three months ago. Though she had been sick for some time, the message announcing her death Monday afternoon was quite a shock to her relatives here who have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
