COTTAGE GROVE - The graveside service will be held Nov. 16 for Dorothy Rounsaville of Cottage Grove, who died Nov. 13 of age-related causes. She was 85.

Rounsaville was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Johnson County, Okla., to Dorse and Grace Need- ham. She married Chester "Chet" Rounsaville on July 27, 1939, in Durant, Okla. He died Jan. 11, 1997.

She had lived in Cottage Grove since 1953 and previously lived in Haywood, Calif., and Durant, Okla. She worked for many years in the kitchen at Dorena Elementary School, retiring in 1979 as head cook.

Rounsaville enjoyed flowers, gardening, garage sales and listening to bluegrass music. She was a former member of the Dorena Sunshine Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Cooper of Camas, Wash.; two sons, Mack of Dorena and Ronald of Cottage Grove; three sisters, Martha Crowell, Laura Gillespie and Wanda Spring, all of Oklahoma; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two grandsons, Tony Thurman and Brian Rounsaville, died previously.

Wednesday's service will be at 2 p.m. in Fir Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove is in charge of arrangements.
